  • CHART (California Hospital Accountability and Reporting Taskforce) This site  describes the program for hospital comparisons on a wide range of quality measures including several perinatal ones (more coming on-line in mid-2009).
  • CHART (CalHospitalCompare.org) This site is the public web-interface for hospital quality assessment includes several perinatal measures (more coming on-line in mid-2009).
  • IPODR (Improved Perinatal Outcomes Data reports) (CA DPH and OSHPD)  This site lets you examine California vital stats data at the county and zip code level.  Latest year included is 2004. Unfortunately, a password is required to see most of the data.
  • March of Dimes PeriStats  This site lets you build queries and graphs on national vital stats data, excellent for birthweight analyses and quick peaks at trends.  Latest year included is 2004.  This is a great website that gives very quick answers to many questions.  THe only drawback is the age of the data.
  • OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) Healthcare Quality and Analysis Division.  They have performed a number of high-quality risk-adjusted studies comparing hospitals in California, including risk-adjusted Cesarean rates (Look under the "Utilization indicators"), and VBAC rates for 2005, 2006, and 2007.  It is planned to also release post-partum readmission rates and fully risk-adjusted 3rd/4th degree alceration rates for California hospitals in 2009.
  • Perinatal Profiles  Provides hospital level comparisons of perinatla outcmes using vital stats data.  Compared by hospital level and region.  One needs a password to see your own hospital data.  Latest year included is 2005.
  • California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC) provides benchmarking outcomes for VLBW babies for all California Level III and most Level II NICU's.  Overview data is avaialble to all, a password is needed to see your own hospital data.
