American Pregnancy Association (APA)

Description/Mission:

The American Pregnancy Association (APA) is a national health organization committed to promoting reproductive and pregnancy wellness through education, research, advocacy, and community awareness.  The APA works to educate through a toll-free helpline, the Internet, and patient education materials.  APA supports research and advocacy that supports women and families by lobbying the legislature, businesses, and insurance providers to promote pregnancy and family health issues.  The APA also seeks to increase awareness of the reproductive and pregnancy needs in our society along with the resources necessary to address these needs.
