California Perinatal Profiles

Description/Mission:

This site was created by the Perinatal Outcomes Project at the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. It is a result of a collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Program (MCAH) and the Regional Perinatal Programs of California (RPPC). Within this site you will find both public (i.e. state and regional information) and confidential (i.e. hospital specific) information. The goal of this project is to provide data to all the maternity hospitals in California for the purpose of continuous quality improvement. The public site includes state and regional reports, information on how to use data for quality improvement as well as samples of what is available on the confidential, hospital specific site.
