Mid-Coastal California Perinatal Outreach Program (MCCPOP)

Description/Mission:

The Mid-Coastal California Perinatal Outreach Program (MCCPOP) is located in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine at Stanford University. MCCPOP collaborates closely with Charles B. and Ann L. Johnson Center for Pregnancy and Newborn Services at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH). The Johnson Center is a comprehensive clinical service line, which includes obstetrical and neonatal services. Consolidation of these services has been instrumental in strengthening LPCH's ability to offer integrated and synergistic family-centered service.  MCCPOP provides obstetrical and neonatal education to healthcare providers in Region 4 through educational opportunities at local hospitals such as lectures, journal clubs, workshops, attendance at selected Morbidity and Mortality conferences, Peer reviews and an annual conference "Perinatal Potpourri" that features Stanford faculty and national speakers outside of Region 4.
