Rand California Site

Description/Mission:

RAND California is a subscription-based service on California and U.S. public policy issues with an emphasis on statistics. RAND California is sponsored by RAND, the nation's leading think tank. You can  sign the guest book to receive further information about RAND California. Libraries may request a trial subscription.

At this site you can:

  • Access an Online Library that indexes recent research and other publications from leading California public policy and research institutions.
  • Access California Statistics contains nearly 100 statistical databases, ranging from employment to social security payments to SAT scores. Much of the data is available at the national, state, county, city, and zip code levels. All of the data is updated on a regular basis.
