Anne Castles, MPH, MA joined CMQCC in 2011 and currently serves as the Associate Director for CMQCC’s Maternal Data Center. In that role, she has led the planning, implementation and growth of the Maternal Data Center, a secure web-based tool enabling rapid-cycle data collection and perinatal quality reporting for participating hospitals. Launched in 2012, the MDC now serves close to 300 hospitals across five states--supporting quality improvement, performance reporting activities, value-based purchasing programs and QI research. Prior to CMQCC, Anne worked for the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH) for 10 plus years in the design and implementation of multi-stakeholder, statewide quality improvement projects. Anne holds a BA from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Health and Master of Applied Economics from the University of Michigan.
