Nancy Peterson is a perinatal nurse practitioner with 30 years’ experience in a variety of roles including clinical nurse specialist, labor & delivery nurse, nursing faculty, childbirth educator and sexual assault nurse examiner. She completed her BSN at Point Loma College in San Diego and her MSN and PNNP at Regis University in Denver, CO. Currently she is the Director of Perinatal Outreach at Stanford University and oversees the Mid- and North Coast, East Bay Regional Perinatal Programs (RPPC). She is also the Clinical Program Manager of the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC). For the past 3 years, she has co-chaired the Preeclampsia Task Force and the Preeclampsia Quality Improvement Collaborative involving 25 hospitals over an 18-month period.
