Awarded to hospitals that implemented
a new MDC measure or feature.
For 2022: Maternal Safety Checklist plus process measure
Quality & Sustainability Award:
NTSV Cesarean Birth Rate (PC-02)
Awarded to hospitals that meet and maintain California’s target rate for the NTSV Cesarean Birth measure for three consecutive years
Quality & Sustainability Award: Timely
Treatment for Severe Hypertension Rate
Awarded to hospitals that meet and maintain a Timely Treatment for Severe HTN rate of 80% and above for three consecutive years
Quality & Sustainability Award:
QI Academy Collaborative Hospitals
Awarded to QI Academy participating hospitals that met, and have maintained, their target rate for their selected quality initiative.
Maternal Data Center Superstar Award:
Small Birth Volume Hospitals
Awarded to hospitals with <1000 annual births that exhibited high levels of engagement in the MDC
Maternal Data Center Superstar Award:
Medium-Sized Birth Volume Hospitals
Awarded to hospitals with 1000-2499 annual births that exhibited high levels of engagement in the MDC
Maternal Data Center Superstar Award:
Large Birth Volume Hospitals
Awarded to hospitals with >2500 annual births that exhibited high levels of engagement in the MDC
