Arronoel Ashby-Rosellon

Arronoel Ashby-Rosellon joined CMQCC and CPQCC as Communications Specialst in July 2023.  He joined the organization from Health Affairs, the health policy research journal, where he led communications and design strategies on break through health equity-focused issues on Racism and Health, Disability And Health, and Perinatal Mental Health.

Arronoel was born and raised in Monterey, CA. He pursued his education at San Jose State University, earning a degree in Communications and Legal studies. Arronoel went on to work at the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, where he developed a passion for health equity and gained valuable experience mobilizing AA & NHPI communities through digital advocacy campaigns including regulations on proposed the Public Charge rule, REACH Program, and Civil Rights Protections under ACA H.R. 1557. 

Arronoel recently co-authored a publication in Wiley Learned Publishing highlighting marketing and communication efforts to achieve health equity in the scholarly publishing enterprise. Arronoel also volunteered at Project HOPE and served as a diversity, equity, and inclusion council member. He also volunteered at Young Invincibles and served as a youth advisory board member for the west coast chapter.  

Outside of work, Arronoel enjoys running on trails with his husband and three dogs.
