Lindsay du Plessis has joined CMQCC as the Community Engagement Coordinator. She earned a BA in Sociology with a minor in African American Studies from UC Berkeley and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University. She then pursued a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Community Health Sciences with a minor in Epidemiology at UCLA. Her research interests are in developing programs and health promotion strategies for low-income groups, racial and ethnic minorities, and other marginalized communities. She strives to address health disparities, collaborate with community partners, and implement intervention and prevention strategies that will empower and improve outcomes among vulnerable populations.
